Whisky Live Toronto, now in its fourth year, is Canada’s whisky tasting event of the year, bringing the celebration of whisky to Toronto.
Held this year in two halls, Halls F & G of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Whisky Live Toronto brings all the very best whiskies from around the world under one roof. Appealing to both the enthusiast and the novice Whisky Live Toronto has expert advice on hand as well as the opportunity to learn about the whisky basics. It is the ultimate whisky experience with such a stunning range of whiskies, delicious food, Masterclasses, live music and regular nose-off competitions. And with more room for more whiskies and more food, this should be the best whisky event ever.

Whisky Live – The Tasting Booths
Whisky Live Toronto gives visitors the unique opportunity to sample some of the greatest whiskies in the world. At the same time you mingle with producers, independent bottlers and brand ambassadors, can ask those questions you have always wanted to ask and hear the answers from the heart of the industry.
Whisky Experiences
The Whisky Experiences are the education and entertainment zones, with themed areas providing sensory experiences and education about the whisky world. With a dram always on hand the Whisky Experience seeks to educate and entertain those who want to learn a little more about the diversity of this delicious nectar.
Masterclasses
The Whisky Live Masterclasses are a unique insight into the world of whisky and are tutored by master distillers and other leading whisky experts. Tickets will go on sale from September 4th priced at CAN$25 per Masterclass.

MC7 - Makers Mark
Meet Maker’s Mark Master Distiller who will give you a brief history of Bourbon, Bourbon Production. Milling, Mashing, Cooking, Fermenting, Distilling and Aging explained.
The Master Distiller will take you on a guided tour through Maker’s Mark at different ages of maturity (including new distillate 1 Day old… you’ll have to experience that one first hand!) 2 year old, fully mature and an over mature version to illustrate why Maker’s Mark only produces a single product... Think of this as your personal Bourbon crash course (or Bourbon enjoyment course).
Also during this presentation, the Master Distiller will explain the difference between Whisky and Bourbon, and why Maker’s Mark stands apart from all the others. |

What is Whisky Live?
Whisky Live is the international celebration of whisky, bringing all the whiskies of the world together under one roof. Whisky Live prides itself on bringing together the finest whiskies, great food and a range of education and entertainment to make learning about whisky both fun and stimulating. Begun in Tokyo in 2000, Whisky Live is now run 14 cities throughout the world.

What are the entrance prices and times?

CAN $95 + tax + booking fee. On door price $110.
Evening Entrance Ticket (7pm-10pm)
CAN $50 + tax + booking fee. On door price $60.
What is included in the entrance price?
4 or 8 vouchers for sampling whisky (whether a VIP or Evening ticket), unlimited access to the running buffet, complimentary water, live entertainment and your Whisky Live show guide and Whisky Live tasting glass.
What is a voucher?
A voucher is the event’s currency to help you sample. No sample can be tasted without exchanging a number of vouchers. You receive a number of vouchers as part of your entrance ticket, and further vouchers are available at a cost of CAN $2 each. You require at least 1 voucher for each sample, depending on the age and rarity of the whisky. The principle is that unaged whiskies or whiskies under 12 years are 1 voucher, and older or rarer whiskies are 2 vouchers or more. This amount is at the discretion of each exhibitor.
Is food included in my ticket price?
Yes – there is a wonderful running buffet throughout the afternoon and evening.
Are there any special requirements for the evening?
The main aim is for visitors to enjoy themselves. Clearly we want this to be in a responsible way. Whisky Live implements a Responsible Drinking Policy to ensure we promote a safe and friendly environment in the interests of all visitors. Whisky samples are only poured in return for Whisky Live sample vouchers. Alcohol will not be sold or supplied to anyone under the age of 19 or anyone who is drunk and the only forms of ID that are accepted at the Show are: Passports, Photo Driving License, Proof of age cards, ID Cards.
We will also have signage clearly displayed at the entrance and throughout the show that clearly outlines our Responsible Drinking Policy and security staff will be on hand to police these rules in addition to our own Whisky Live team.
